Kiel Shaub is a passionate educator, curriculum designer, writer, and scholar with over a decade of research and teaching experience at the university level.

Kiel is currently a Lecturer in the University of Southern California’s Department of Physical Education & Mind Body Health. Kiel is also the Academic Curator for the EXL Lab @ USC, a new experience-based program initiative with the USC Dornsife Office of Experiential and Applied Learning. As Academic Curator, Kiel develops, designs, and leads dynamic experiential and maker-focused programs and events with USC faculty and the Lab’s non-academic partners. Previously, Kiel taught as a lecturer in UCLA’s English Department. His literary research, focusing on Romanticism, aesthetics, and the history of criticism, has appeared in William Blake’s Gothic Imagination, The Journal of Aesthetic Education, Female Voices—1770 to 1830, the Keats-Shelley Journal, and Romanticism .
